As the first company in Yemen to win the Global SME Finance Forum, National Cash Transfer Co. (YCASH) has been awarded the Honorable Mention of Innovative Product Award for the year 2021 from IFC and SME FF. The award was granted to YCASH as special appreciation for its efforts, distinguished financial products and services for the SMEs in the most challenging and difficult areas. YCASH was awarded for its product “door to door”, which is a payment method used for the delivery of aid and financial services to customers to their homes, aims to alleviate the sufferance, decrease the costs of transportation, and reduce the risks of COVID-19 pandemic. The award was announced during a ceremony honoring the winners of the fourth edition of the Global SME Finance Forum Awards last Thursday, October 21, 2021, as part of the major annual event held by the SME Finance Forum.
