As part of its social responsibility YCASH supported Cash for Awareness and Cleaning Water Sources  project which started in June 2021 in Al-Maqatera District, Lahj Governorate and is implemented by YFoundation in partnership with Floosak e-wallet, and National Cash Transfer (YCASH) as a piolet phase to promote the e-money in humanitarian cash transfers to increase the use of digital financial services in communities and humanitarian programs.

The intervention targets 59 vulnerable HHs (413 Individuals) with conditional cash transfers to meet their food needs while participating in community asset improvement and awareness rising on financial inclusion and COVID 19 prevention.

The selected beneficiaries were trained on financial literacy and COVID prevention and the first round of e-money transfer successfully completed during June and July 2021 . The project activities include conducting three e-money transfers through Floosak e-wallet, training of beneficiaries on financial inclusion and COVID prevention, conduct community awareness rising, and cleaning of community water sources.
